Description: Parasitism in horses can lead to a variety of health issues including organ damage, weight loss, poor growth and respiratory problems. In addition, parasite infestations may contribute to colic, which sometimes results in expensive surgery or even death. Strongid® Paste is an equine dewormer that provides effective treatment and control of the following parasites in horses and ponies: Large strongyles Small strongyles Pinworms Roundworms Strongid® Paste contains the active ingredient pyrantel pamoate, which controls a variety of equine parasites. It is safe for use in all healthy horses, ponies and foals 2 months of age and older, including pregnant mares and breeding stallions. One syringe will treat a 1200 lb horse. Administer orally. Supplied as a single dose syringe. To provide horses of all classes with continuous preventive deworming, we recommend Strongid® C or Strongid® C 2X, which are provided in a convenient pellet form.
