10′ Holland Shielding Systems EMC-IP Gasket Knitted Mesh w/ Neoprene Foam EMC-IP Gasket is cut at 10’ lengths, however if you purchase multiple quantities, we’ll make only one cut. For example, if you purchase quantity “3” you’ll receive one 30’ piece. 10′ EMC-IP gasket with controlled compression stops for EMI and EMP protection This gasket is used for screwed connections for EMI and EMP protection. The water seal is made out of flame-retardant neoprene foam. In the water seal are not only holes for bolts but also holes to make the foam easier to compress. This makes it so that it can be used to screw thinner plates together without bending. Around the bolt holes are compression stops to prevent the gasket overstretches. This makes it possible so that with a torque control the gasket is under exactly the right stress for water and EMI sealing during mounting. The compression stops are made of metal. The core of the knitted mesh material is Neoprene foam (base material) The base material of the gasket is made of neoprene that can be ordered in different widths and lengths. 2488XF1C.13 New Chomerics (by Parker Hannifin) Cho-Seal EMI Shield Gasket Material, .062″ x .100″ Conductive Elastomer, Part Number 10-05-4699-1285. Each bid quantity is for One (1) Bag Containing Twenty-Five (25) Linear Feet. You may bid / buy any number of bags, up to the total quantity available above. This was purchased at an electronics supplier liquidation earlier this year, and it was brand new on the original factory spools. We measured it and repackaged in heavy Ziplok bags for resale. Chomerics 1285 is made with a silicone rubber elastomer that is impregnated with finely powdered Silver and Aluminum metal during the manufacturing process. This gives it some interesting properties, such as conducting electricity and providing shielding against electromagnetic interference. It is noticeably heavier than ordinary silicone rubber, but it is not as stretchy. Hardness is around Shore 65 (+/-7). Parker has full specs for this product available online at: http://www.chomerics.com/products/emi/gaskets/cond_elast/specs/tables/1285.html Note: About 95% of these bags should be one full, unbroken 25′ piece of material. We did, however, have a few bags with broken pieces that got mixed in with the others (about 15 out of 300 bags).
